Simon Willmott

Since 2003, when Simon set up his studio in North Wales, he has been working on various limited edition sculptures and paintings for exhibition.

As a youngster, Simon was tutored one-to-one by a Royal Academy artist at boarding school. This laid foundation for a life long interest and practice in painting and sculpture. He had paintings hung in the Guild Hall London at the age of nine with a Highly Commended from the Queen Mother.

His work has been exhibited in several UK galleries including Brick Lane in London.

Lifesize sculptures

  • Hey Jo

Hey Jo could set off a rockery or make a central feature in a lawn or rose garden. The sculpture is versatile and easy to place. This sculpture is complete and is available in various finishes.

  • Provocation

Provocation speaks for itself. There is movement and tension in the pose. Her arms positioned to visually flow, as if in a dance. A difficult pose for the patient model, but worth the effect to capture muscle tension and ballet like beauty. She is moving.

  • The Sleeping Lady

The lady is in a deep sleep, her arms wrapped around herself in a comforting embrace. Her long legs, maternal hip and shoulder are a human landscape that radiates a feeling of quiet relaxation.
